Returns Policy
Bought too much, picked the wrong size, had a problem, or simply changed your mind? Wickstrom Ace Hardware makes returns easy. We accept returns for items purchased at our store within one year of the original purchase date, though some exceptions apply.
If you cannot find your receipt, present the method of payment used for the purchase or the Ace Rewards number connected to the transaction, and we may be able to look it up. If the transaction cannot be found, Wickstrom Ace Hardware, at its discretion, may issue an Ace Hardware Merchandise Return Card based on the item’s lowest selling price within the last 90 days. Refunds without a receipt require a valid driver’s license. For purchases made by non-electronic check, refunds requested within seven days will be issued as an Ace Hardware Merchandise Return Card.
Return Policy Exceptions
Outdoor power equipment, generators, air conditioners, evaporative coolers, grills, smokers, paddle boards, and kayaks must be returned in like-new condition with proof of purchase within 30 days. Items that have been used, if accepted for return, may be subject to a restocking fee.
Custom tinted paint and custom-cut goods, including screen, chain, rope, glass, and similar items, cannot be returned.
Trees, shrubs, and perennials are guaranteed for one year. Other live goods cannot be returned.
Holiday items, including Christmas ornaments, decorations, pre-lit trees, and lights, must be returned on or before November 8, 2026. Items purchased after the holiday are final sale and cannot be returned.
Can I Get A Replacement Receipt?
Yes. Simply contact the store where you made your purchase.
